21st November: 46th AGM

The 46th AGM took place at Haslemere Hall prior to the lecture by Dr Neil Faulkner on 'Lawrence of Arabia: Tortured hero of Troubled Times'.
This was a very significatn event in the history of the society when members voted to change the society's name to The Arts Society Haslemere. The decision was taken to fall in line with the rebranding initiatives that were instigated by The Arts Society, formerly known as the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS).  Below the moment when the vote was taken!

21st November: Victorian Christmas Craft Workshops
- 2.30 p.m. and 7.00 p.m.
Artist Diana Burch organised two creative workshops at which participants joined her in rediscovering the traditional spirit of the festive season. They created beautiful decorations, all inspired by a Victorian Christmas. These creative wellbeing workshops were sponsored by HDFAS as part of our 'Arts in the Community' project, organised by Isabelle Cole.
