WELCOME TO THE ARTS SOCIETY HASLEMERE

At the AGM in November 2017 the membership voted to fall in line with the rebranding initiatives that were instigated by The Arts Society, formerly known as the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS).

Accordingly our society's name has changed from Haslemere Decorative and Fine Arts Society to The Arts Society Haslemere.

The core activities and mission of the society are the same as they have always been since it was founded in 1971.

Visitors and new members are welcome.
We have a large hall for lectures and there is no waiting list for members to join.

As a charity we aim to be closely involved in the local community, in particular focusing on inspiring children with a love of the arts and helping to conserve our heritage through volunteer work and church recording.

Every year we have a packed programme of events, with monthly lectures, a series of special interest days and outings to places of historical and artistic interest. Occasional trips abroad are also organised.

To find out about all that we have in store for 2018, visit the PROGRAMME PAGES.
